PRELIFE-consortium to search for the origins of life on earth and in the universe
An interdisciplinary research consortium led by Inge Loes ten Kate (UU, UvA) has been awarded an NWA grant from NWO for research into the origin of life on Earth and in the universe. The 'PRELIFE - Pathways, Reactions, and Environments' consortium, along with eight other awarded proposals, will receive 6.7 million euros to start searching for answers to this research question. The consortium consists of a group of scientists at sixteen universities and research institutes in the Netherlands, and experts in the field of science communication and education.
