Henny Lamers wins U.S. prize for textbook on star evolution

The 2023 Chambliss Astronomical Writing Award will be given to Henny Lamers (emeritus professor of Astronomy at the University of Amsterdam) and Emily Levesque (assistant professor at the University of Washington) for their textbook Understanding Stellar Evolution (IOP Publishing Ltd., 2017). This has just been announced by the AAS, the American Astronomical Society.
